It's that time of year again: Fraunhofer IWKS invites the international community of resource chemistry to the ICRC - International Conference on Resource Chemistry for the second time. The aim of the conference is to discuss current developments in resource chemistry. In times of increasing pressure on business and politics regarding environmental protection and climate change, materials science and chemistry must work together to find answers to some of the world's most challenging technological challenges.

The Proton Exchange Membrane (PEM) is an established technology for electrolysis and fuel cells. The use of PEM stacks is growing, and they will increasingly become subject to recycling in the coming years, as they contain valuable raw materials (such as precious metals) and parts, which can be reused. Where does the industry currently stand regarding stack recycling? Which possible business models exist? What challenges need to be tackled and overcome? What needs to happen when? Where is government support needed? Discuss with experts and your peers!

From April 22 to 26, LEA Hessen will once again be organizing a joint Hessian stand at the Hannover Messe in the Hydrogen + Fuel Cells EUROPE exhibition area via the State Hydrogen Agency. Hesse's concentrated power in this sector will once again be represented at Europe's leading trade fair in the field of hydrogen and fuel cell technology.

Time and time again, multidisciplinary research is touted as essential to innovation. That is why, from April 22-26, 2024, researchers working in seemingly unrelated fields will gather in Seattle, Washington to promote, share and discuss issues and developments across disciplines at the 2024 MRS Spring Meeting & Exhibit.
