Sustainability is a topic that gains more and more importance, above all for enterprises. Besides being a major factor with regard to economics, an efficient use of our resources also gains importance for our society as a whole. Only if we maintain our environment, generations to come will be able to build their own future. Small and medium-sized companies (SMEs) have their very own challenges when trying to implement sustainability.

The Fraunhofer Project Group Materials Recycling and Resource Strategies IWKS and the BVMW (German Association for Small and Medium-sized Businesses) cordially invite you to discuss with us, how we can realize a responsible use of resources and practiced environmental as well as social protection.

During the short presentations and following panel discussion, you will have ample opportunity to discuss some of the most important issues in the area of sustainability, including:

  • How can sustainability become cost-efficient? How can employees be more in-volved?
  • Which techn. approaches already exist in order to make a big impact even on a small scale?

The evening will give medium-sized companies and associations the opportunity to exchange experiences with like-minded parties and to start making an impact. The aim is to create a basis to implement sustainability according to a positive employer and internal branding.
