Together with Materials Valley e.V., Technology State Hessen presents a new virtual event series. As with their highly successful Materials for the European Green Deal event series, experts from industry and research will present solutions from different technology segments in short, highlight presentations. Space for networking and asking questions will be provided during the breaks.

On Tuesday, March 21, 2023, at 6 p.m., Prof. Dr. Hubert Huppertz (University of Innsbruck) will hold an online seminar on "From basic research to application: synthesis of new phosphors for LEDs".

At Germany’s largest electric bus conference and the accompanying exhibiton, important questions relating to electric buses in public transport will be discussed: How can public transport do even better to achieve environmental and climate protection goals in bus operation and offer innovative solutions? How can we succeed in transforming transport towards more mobility with environmentally friendly forms of transport?

For the 6th time, experts from the Rhine-Main area will meet to discuss current developments and trends in the production, transport, storage and use of hydrogen.

At the upcoming Hannover Messe, running from 17 to 21 April, some 500 companies will be presenting their solutions for hydrogen production, transport, storage and consumption. The opportunities for all of these companies are vast because, by 2030, the EU Commission wants to install electrolyzers with a capacity of at least 40 gigawatts to produce 10 million tons of green hydrogen in a phased-in process.

E-world energy & water is the place where the European energy industry comes together. Serving as an information platform for the energy sector, E-world is gathering international decision makers in Essen each year. More than one fifth of the exhibiting companies are based abroad. The majority of international exhibitors come from countries of the European Union.

As part of the WEEK OF HYDROGEN, the Leistungszentrum-Wasserstoff Hessen will offer interested citizens the opportunity to talk to experts from the Fraunhofer facilities about the topic of hydrogen on Thursday, June 15, 2023 from 5:00 pm. Current research approaches will be explained and questions answered in a practical and informative manner.

ISMES school returns to the place where it was born in 2010, the prestigious “Ettore Majorana” Centre in Erice, enchanted surroundings, where culture, beauty and charm mix with science, in a timeless atmosphere. The school will review critical materials issues for the renewable and sustainable production and storage of energy.
