The 8th annual International School for Materials for Energy and Sustainability (ISMES VIII)

From July 21-27, Caltech will host the 8th annual International School for Materials for Energy and Sustainability (ISMES VIII), co-organized by Harry Atwater (Caltech),. David Cahen (Weizmann Institute) and David Ginley (NREL).

This school features top experts-lecturers from all over the planet for a one-week intensive course, designed for graduate students and postdoctoral scholars seeking to get, improve and/or widen their basis knowledge of energy and sustainability materials research, with a broad perspective.

Applications are due by May 31^st

Costs

The cost is $700 for non-local attendees (housing costs included) and $350 for local attendees (housing not included). These expenses cover the costs of the school including lectures, student projects, meals, and a half-day excursion into Los Angeles.
