The Fraunhofer Project Group IWKS offers various spectroscopic methods with the result that effectively the whole wavelength range from infrared to X-rays is covered. There is a broad variety of methods for elemental analysis both in solutions and in solids. We offer infrared and Raman spectroscopy to measure vibrational spectra. The electronical properties of the analyte then again can be investigated via UV-VIS spectroscopy. Concerning questions relating to material recovery and especially systematic substitution of materials the spatially-resolved composition is a key information, which is accessible by micro X-ray fluorescence spectroscopy, Raman spectroscopy and x-ray spectroscopy coupled with high resolution electron microscopy.
