  • wide range of magnetic, thermal and electrical characterization methods
  • low-temperature measurements up to 4 K and high-temperature measurements up to 1000 K possible
  • Magnetic field strength up to 14 T
  • Temperature-dependent measurement of hysteresis loops
  • Visualization of magnetization processes at surfaces
  • Measurement of specific heat capacity of anisotropic samples ( e.g. sintered magnets) parallel and orthogonal to magnetic field
  • Resistance measurements of semiconductors depending on magnetic field strength
  • VSM and resistance measurements depending on magnetic field by application of isostatic stress (e.g. permanent magnets, magnetocaloric materials)

  • Vibrating sample magnetometer (VSM) for samples up to 3 x 3 x 3 mm
  • Possible AC/DC magnetometry and torsion magnetometry
  • Application for AFM-MFM (Fa. Attocube)
  • High-temperature furnace up to 1000 K
  • Measuring cell for pressures up to 1.3 GPa
